Seasonal JC Nalle Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Site Coordinator (SC) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of NCCF OST programming in accordance with program guidelines and expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement program goals, activities, and curriculum that support academic, enrichment, and life skills development.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making necessary improvements.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff and volunteers, providing leadership, resources, and feedback for professional growth.
  • Plan and coordinate program schedules, planning, transportation, and materials to ensure a balanced and engaging experience.
  • Maintain program alignment with goals, safety requirements, and policies.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports youth engagement, social-emotional development, and personal growth.
  • Communicate regularly with participants and families, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Assist in budgeting, track expenditure, and prepare financial reports for the Program Director, funders, and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, youth development, program management, or extensive experience in the field.
  • Previous preferred experience in program coordination or management, ideally in an afterschool or youth development setting.
  • Strong understanding of youth development principles, best practices, and trends in afterschool programming.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and program evaluation skills, including data collection and reporting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, volunteers, participants, and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with community partners, schools, and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to changing program needs, priorities, and funding requirements.


Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to utilize hand and eye coordination and manual agility. The employee may be required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the responsibilities of the employee’s job, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the employee will encounter. Salary: $40/hour
