
The National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) is seeking a Contract Psychiatrist to provide weekly psychiatric services (up to 10 hours per week) to children and adolescents involved in the District of Columbia foster care system. This role is based in Greenbelt, Maryland, with some availability for virtual service delivery. The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, provide ongoing clinical assessments, and manage medications in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
As a key contributor to a multidisciplinary treatment team, the psychiatrist will participate in treatment planning, clinical case reviews, and team meetings as needed. Responsibilities also include recommending appropriate services and supports, identifying when a higher level of care is clinically indicated, and collaborating with program staff to support positive outcomes for youth and families.
